About

About this guide

PokeSurvivor Guide is an unofficial English site about the free browser fan game PokeSurvivor. The articles explain how to start a run, how partners are unlocked, how moves and held items work, and how fields, rifts, and co-op are described in the game’s own public pages and repositories. The game itself is played at pokesurvivor.com and is also listed on itch.io.

Every article on this site is signed by the PokeSurvivor Editorial Team. That name is the byline for the whole guide. It is not a person, and this site does not publish personal names or email addresses.

Fan project, not an official Pokémon site

PokeSurvivor is an unofficial fan game. It is not made by, sponsored by, or affiliated with Nintendo, Game Freak, Creatures, or The Pokémon Company. Pokémon names, creatures, and related marks belong to their owners. This guide does not claim them, and it does not claim the fan game’s code, music, or sprites.

Screenshots on the articles are frames and a share image published by the game on its site and its itch page. Creature sprites inside those images are credited by the game to SpriteCollab contributors under CC BY-NC 4.0. The attribution and the page list are on Sources. This guide does not host a scraped Pokédex gallery.

How the articles were compiled

Facts are taken from pages and files that were actually opened: the live game, its English guide, move, item, type, Pokédex, and legendaries pages, the itch release notes, the game’s repository README and design document, English strings and upgrade definitions in the shipped client, and the separate Phaser repository that uses the package name poke-survivors. Where those sources disagree, or where a public page simply does not say, the article says so. Nothing here is written as a personal play report.

A second fan project, Poké World Survivors, shares a similar name and is easy to confuse with the browser game. The home page and the runs page keep that project’s three starters and eight phases separate from the 966-partner game at pokesurvivor.com.
